Ornate brass dial with Roman numerals, center with seconds dial and scroll-work engraved cartouche, applied c-scroll spandrels. Hand painted pediment. His clocks adorn estates and country homes in England and beyond... think Downton Abbey.

Inside the top, an antique nail holds a small handwritten card with "Rev Plaxton Langport", likely the man (and small English town) for whom the clock was originally made in England. This clock predates the American Revolution!
