MORGAN 36T - $18,000 (St Augustine)

A unique racing design built by MORGAN Yachts to race within the IOR specifications in the 70ies. She has a complete cruising interior with holding tank. This boat has been in my family since 1979 and has been well taken care of and never in the water for more than 2 years at a time. The boat has a rebuilt Westerbeke 4107 38 hp engine with approx 450 hours. A new 80 Amp Alternator was installed in 2015. The hull is in great shape as well as the deck. The hull is made in solid fiberglass. The keel is lead and attached with 7 ×1 inch dia Stainless Steel Keel Bolt. The sails are also in good shape. All the sails are made by HOOD and North. The boat comes with 5 genoas. , #1 "180", 2, 3, 4, and a spinnaker plus blooper. She is set up with Jiffy Quick reefing system. The main is weathered but recently had all the seems restitched. Late fall 2014 the boat was sailed to Key West from Boston and since been to St. Petersburg and now here in St. Augustine. Prior to the trip I replaced sections of soft core in the deck and got a new 2 bladed folding Gori propeller.
This boat can still win races and she has a comfortable and roomy interior. The headroom is about 6 foot. She sleeps 8 and all bunks are 6 Ft and 6 Inches long.
