• 1998 DODGE RAM 2500 SLT Extended Cab Laramie Edition / 2W drive
• 5.9L Diesel w 6 cylinders
• Legendary 24v Cummins Turbodiesel w/ only 177K original miles. (Not even broken in yet for a Cummins)
• Truck drives absolutely perfect w/ no wobbles .. including towing anything. (new alignment / balancing, tires)
• All oil changes, transmission fluid changes done regulary.
• Power steering is perfect, turns without strain or noises.
• New Wheel alignment May of 2025 (have receipts)
• New Front Brakes, calipers, rotors, brake hoses / May of 2025 (have all receipts)
• Repacked wheel bearings as well / May of 2025
• New Ball joints (upper and lower) / idler Arm Assembly / May 2025 / (have receipt)
• New Steering Pitman arm / May 2025 / have receipts
• New Inner / Outer Tie Rod ends / May 2025 / have receipts
• 4 New All Country HT Tires installed / balanced / aligned / full tread see pictures!
• New Starter replaced in late 2025 / have receipt
• New Alternator installed also late 2025 / have receipt
• Muffler and Tail Pipe Exhaust / replaces in 2022.
• 2 new batteries installed in late May 2025
• Have clean title in hand.
• Again Truck runs perfectly fine … drives straight, transmission works, lights, etc.
• Trailer hitch / ball and 4-pin wire installed 2023 (have receipt)
• all belts / serpentine belt and tensionser assembly / replaced in 2024 (have receipt)
• New AC kit, condenser, AC PIPE WITH ORIFICE TUBE, AC HOSE ASY, FREON
• New AC PRESSURE SWITCH ACC and CYCLE SWITCH
• rear fuel tank strap replaced
• New Throttle sensor (replaced in 2022)
• New Radiator installed in 2021
• New tailgate cables / installed 2026
• New Pioneer Stereo and JBL speakers installed in 2025
Challenges / work needs to be done:
• It’s a 1998 truck … does have some rust on same place all trucks get rust, rear passenger doors and side panel.
• The dashboard cover is missing but still totally driveable
• needs ceiling headliner / new glovebox (easily find on Ebay)
• hood latch needs replacing but you can easily get it open. (replacement parts on Ebay)

1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins 2500 24v with Low miles. (Aka the greatest truck ever made) The truck starts and runs and drives flawless and has never gave us any issues and if you know the Cummins, you know it's barely even broken in with that mileage of 178K. The body has the expected wear and tear for the year of this truck such as some rust spots and paint chipping but all and all is very good condition for being a 98. I started restoring the interior, as the Dodge Ram’s infamous dash boards do not last at all, but I unfortunately don't have the time anymore. It needs a new dash and glove box and a few other interior parts.All in all it's abt 800 bucks worth of parts that are all available on eBay / Amazon to have this truck looking pretty good on the interior. It has the extended 8 foot bed which is incredibly convenient for loading anything and also comes with a Tractor Supply Tool box. This truck has been an absolute blessing to our family and me and is super reliable and in great condition, with a little work this Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie Edition Extended Cab would be a great truck again and guarantee to run another 20 years!
