This furniture is crafted using engineered poly lumber by Highwood USA, a company that’s known for building benches and chairs throughout Disney resorts. It is famously sturdy, weatherproof and virtually maintenance free. And while it’s made from the same heavy-duty material as Polywood, Highwood’s high-end, proprietary blend is known for its more realistic wood-grain texture. The material looks like real wood, but it’s MUCH better because it requires NO sanding, NO staining and NO painting. This furniture is NOT cheap big-box store furniture…it’s special because it won’t crack, peel, rot or rust. It’s also built using marine-grade hardware.
This furniture is meant to be left outside all year round, even in the brutal Florida sun, heavy rains and hurricane winds! It has proudly stayed on our deck throughout all of this and it still looks fantastic. The Weatherly collection, particularly in Nantucket Blue, is a coastal favorite in Florida and can still be purchased brand new today—at significantly higher prices than what I’m selling it for here.
